The small letters on both the
front and reverse are D.R.P.
which stands for
'Deutsches Reichpatent'.
This is a registered patent
mark used in greater Germany
betweeen 1871 & 1945.
This would indicate the the printing
on the reverse is part of the original
design of the coaster and
not an over-stamp.
